Our Story

Tasty Not Wasty was born from a powerful moment on Christmas Eve, when our founder witnessed "seven trollies worth of bread" being discarded and destined for waste. This stark contrast between food surplus and food insecurity sparked immediate action.

Established as a Community Interest Company in September 2020, we've grown from a personal response to waste into a vital community hub serving Llanyrafon and beyond.

5 Years Strong

Celebrating our journey since 2020

From that first Christmas Eve to today, we've served thousands of meals, saved tonnes of food from waste, and built lasting connections in our community.
